SP-01 General Epoxy Floor Coating System

SP-01 is a two component, abrasion resistant epoxy floor coating with the following properties:

Direction of Use

Surface preparation The compressive strength of the concrete substrate should not be less than 25N/mm², the best application temperature is between 10~25.The air humidity must not be higher than 80%, the moisture content of the substrate shall not be higher than 8.Correct substrate preparation is critical for optimum performance. Surfaces should be sound, clean, dry and free from loose particles, oil, grease, and other contaminants Clean oil, grease by special detergent. Cement laitance, loose particles, pitch and other contaminants must be removed from the surface by sand-blasting. The alkalinity and porosity of the surface must also be considered.

Primer SP-01A as a primer is adapted to seal the substrate. According to the oil absorption of substrate, a second sealer coat may also be required.

Putty Scraping the putty SP-01A: SP-01B: quartz powder=1: 1: 2~3.

Base Coat  Brush the base coat (SP-01A: SP-01B=1: 1) one or two layers.

Finish coat Brush SP-01A as a varnish.

Pot life 0.5h at +25C

Cleaner Clean tools and equipments using a special detergent SP-01S before the coating curing.

SP-01 A: 15kg per drum

SP-01 B: 15kg per drum

SP-01 S: 15kg per drum

Shelf life

12 months stored in original container, at a dry enclosed place at temperatures between 15 to 35 without exposure to direct sunlight.

Health and safety information

Protective measures  SP-01 contains certain chemicals which can cause skin irritation. Wear gloves, masks while handling the product, washing thoroughly after handling. Should skin contact occur, wash immediately with soap and water. During applying and curing in closed rooms, adequate fresh air ventilation must be provided. Keep away from open flames including welding.In case of accidental eye contact, wash with a large quantity of water and immediately seek medical advice.For detailed health, safety, environment recommendations, please consult and follow the instruction on the product material safety data sheet
